graynoise is the trading name of Sydney based professional photographer Dan Gray, who specialises in corporate portraiture, event photography and fashion. Dan comes from a background in film and digital media, and mixes photography and design in his work, with a network of like-minded professionals to assist when required.

 

Dan has been working as a professional freelance photographer since October 2003, and works out of his home office at Maroubra Beach. Dan began his professional career working as a multimedia and web designer in Adelaide in 1996. In 1998 Dan moved to Sydney and worked for 5 years as a corporate web design specialist. In 2001 Dan began taking photos to illustrate the web sites we was designing. He enjoyed it so much he enrolled in Photography at TAFE Sydney Institute of Technology to further his skills.

 

Today, Dan’s portfolio includes work for Multiplex, Commonwealth Bank, Optus, Vodafone, AMP, Investec, Sony Music Australia, Tigerlily Swimwear, The Australian Jockey Club, Di Jones Real Estate and more. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) with majors in Film and Electronic Media, and a Certificate III in Photography.
